Ex-Seize The Day stickman Anton Tinman joins Stuntface. Anton has also served time with Instant Agony and Minus Nine Lives.

I guess you’d call this a low key gig. Low key as in it’s not a Punk in Drublic promotion and therefore lacks that power of the internet and flyposting medium. Let’s face it, if you don’t frequent The Dudley, you’re not gonna see the posters on display by the bar, and if you don’t read the link2wales forum, you would never have known tonight’s gig was on.

Dave Cox of Global Parasite says; ‘Ha ha that was a strange gig, it was like a youth club or something, we played to loads of kids, which wouldn’t have been so bad but they just stood still while we played with no emotion whatsoever! So we were just like “erm… ok then”… ‘
‘I remember Wayne Cotton’s face as he tried his best not to say inappropriate jokes on the mic, had us (the only adults in the audience apart from maybe some like youth club leaders / parents) in stitches!’
Wayne Cotton of Stuntface adds; ‘I remember a cabaret poster in the foyer for an upcoming performance by Hercules Detroit !! Pissed myself !’
Dave adds; ‘There was at least one other band, a local younger band… called Phat Phace maybe?’

I’m rediscovering the joys of alternative transport. Like my previous bike excursions to West Shore I’ve now found the trains as a good means of reaching the local punk scene, Rhyl last week and now the Bay.
