Here Are The Young Men & Uncle Peanut

Like last time, it was an absolute pleasure and a scream to have Here Are The Young Men & Uncle Peanut live in session on my show. One half of this Reading based outfit is an ex-inmate of Colwyn Bay, so it was great to catch up with Uncle Peanut and take the opportunity to get an another session in the bag.

Here Are The Young Men & Uncle Peanut have just released their excellent second album ‘This Is The Standard Life’. So as Vukovar couldn’t get over Offa’s Dyke to perform in the studio it made perfect (non)sense to repeat the live session Uncle Peanut did for us last summer.

Well, what can I say? What a great session from Here Are The Young Men & Uncle Peanut. Performing a song off their last album ‘Gimme Gimme Gimme Peanut Punk’ and three off the forthcoming ‘This Is A Standard Life’ (due out in July on Musical Bear Records), Uncle Peanut shaked, rattled and rolled all the way from Reading back to his old haunting ground to spook the hell out of us.
