I used to sneak upstairs via the lift and into Martin’s flat to see Ruth, lots of lovely memories of those bistros years. He was definitely a good one.x

Martin was a lovely man and was always nice to my eldest son, who informed me of his untimely death last week, news of which he was saddened by and remembers him with fond regards…RIP Martin Trehearn.

My school day memories of Martin always smiling remind me of the good old days – as most of our era fled the nest from Rhyl contact between school friends ceased – it was so sad to read the news of his passing – it is so true – only the good die young – my heartfelt condolences to all family and his many friends. Loved the Bistro Friday nights, we would come over from the Bay by the taxi load, all baggies and bowl cuts, happy times?
