    They’ve been doing that for the past 30 years (at least). The first thing the late great Peter Pendergast used to impress upon his students was that as a Welsh artist, you had a responsibility to be twice as good as an English artist, because you had a duty to compensate for the travesty that ‘Kyffin’ had inflicted on the art world’s perception of Wales.
