The first time for many years that the “Memo” in Barry has had a gig of any type of profile, and what a band to feature, Wales finest the “Super Furry Animals“! Who are playing the gig as a warm up for their upcoming festival dates.
Sminchfest @ Hendre Hall, Bangor
Formerly the hugely successful Stwnchfest last year, the event is again showcasing the best of North Wales talent with an eclectic range of bands playing in the relaxed atmosphere of Hendre Hall, all for the nominal fee of five pounds. The event has doubled in size and there will be two stages for 16 new and established acts as well as an art installation in the third room.
…Bands confirmed… David Wrench (pic), Zabrinski, Kentucky AFC, Ectogram, Dethkit, The Dreaming, The New Dodo’s, Bovine Wife, Green Marine Sun, Salem, Inferno, Iris, Nixon and Jarvis and Anaemic.
A compilation CD promo was released after this.
