Rozzys Rock night in Holyhead

Radio Friendlies said, ‘The gig went really well. we’re pretty happy with the result. We met some cool people and we got to see some cool fucking bands. Managed to blow up both amps, but I think our set went down well with the crowd. We cant wait to come back.’

Jamie of Sona (pic below) says, ‘Pretty busy, Orient Machine and Radio Friendlies were awesome. I got the Friendlies to come over from Ireland as I sort of know the lead singer- they were great to be fair, had a good laugh with them too. We’re going over to Dublin next for the away leg.’

North by North Wales at The Skerries, Bangor

(review n pix by neil crud)
With a name like North by North Wales, you just had to turn up to have a look. The Skerries is a cosy pub, the back room is a typical ‘live room’ – as in, pool table pushed to the back wall, cheesy horse brasses, bric-a-brac adorns every available space and a 100watt bulb to illuminate the band. Rock Night at Hendre Hall, Tal-y-Bont

None of us liked him; he was cock sure of himself and we didn’t like the fact that he was earning the same money as us when he was still wet behind the ears.

‘How come he can walk into this job, when we had to slog it in the back there to get here today?’ We’d cry.
The same lad went onto to become an area manager for the same company within a very short space of time. We still didn’t like him, but it was more through envy than anything else.

Sound familiar?
