Kentucky AFC release Iasobe?

Following on from the success of their debut album, Kentucky AFC have released their eagerly awaited EP called Iasobe? The EP released on Boobytrap Records includes 5 tracks and was recorded at Music Box studios in Cardiff.

Sminchfest @ Hendre Hall, Bangor

Formerly the hugely successful Stwnchfest last year, the event is again showcasing the best of North Wales talent with an eclectic range of bands playing in the relaxed atmosphere of Hendre Hall, all for the nominal fee of five pounds.  The event has doubled in size and there will be two stages for 16 new and established acts as well as an art installation in the third room.

…Bands confirmed…  David Wrench (pic), Zabrinski, Kentucky AFC, Ectogram, Dethkit, The Dreaming, The New Dodo’s, Bovine Wife, Green Marine Sun, Salem, Inferno, Iris, Nixon and Jarvis and Anaemic.

A compilation CD  promo  was released after this.

Dusty Moo, former Babakin mainman & floating PSST member has a new EP of his solo stuff available.

Fudged are at Rockcliffe Studios in Llandudno recording 5 songs.

The Cox are slinging around a 7 track demo of their latest material.

Pocket Venus are releasing their 2nd single Tell Me Why on Secrets of Sound records on CD & 7″ vinyl.
They will be appearing on the Extreme Sports Channel (Sky Digital 422) on 14th Dec & again on 1st Jan. We have learnt that the songs Fall Away & Get Away will be used as music for the show, plus a montage of the band will be used, filmed at this year’s Wakestock Festival.

The Breeding Ground events in Chester & Wrexham have been suspended until further notice, the organisers are hoping to stage 2 shows at a new venue in Rhyl before xmas.

PSST have been busy remixing versions of Coldplay‘s Yellow plus Queens of The Stone Age & The Hives

A new album is to be released on Catchpenny by the Duckworth-Lewis Method (aka DJ Komikon and ‘Y Dref’) entitled Heb Fod Allan. The D/L Method also had a show on Radio Amgen last autumn.
