Sometimes the best will in the world is not enough to guide you through an itinerary of bands you want to see, and post-Focus it was startlingly apparent that we had seen a very different festival to a lot of our friends and associates.

There was an extra spring in my step as I made my way to Ty Pawb in Wrexham to pick up a wristband for the weekend at this year’s Focus Wales. I had scanned the line-up and stage times of what is in store and it was full of disappointments… Those being that there’s so many quality bands playing that there’s inevitable clashes throughout the three days.More

This style of psychodelic nu-psyche acid-punk music is very much in now, and long may it continue… Bo Ningen take it to another subsonic level – ‘Good evening, we are Bo Ningen, Let’s Go Fuckin’ Mental..!… (They didn’t really say that, but they did..!)More
