I could set the scene of Prestatyn, that dogs’ toilet of a town on a blustery Monday night in January – but I’m not going to… Oh ok…
Offa’s Tavern – that odorous whim down by the train tracks, where 250 happy hardcore sted heads and slags will fight and shag the weekend away, but here, on a Monday night, it may as well be on another planet – a million miles away, where angels (and pricks) fear to tread.
Those who regularly attend and those who play these gigs refuse to be societal cogs in the shit machine of life… Fuck you all, let’s dance…

A night of Hardcore?! on a school night….in RHYL?! I’d be stupid not to go to this. The good folk at Dirty Vultures promotions with the combination of local gig soundman/promoter (Stone Cold) Steve Rastin, decided to make the most of the positive attitude the new owners of the North Inn has towards live music by putting on 4 great hardcore bands for a great night of hardcore. All for the entry fee of £0.More

My ears are still ringing, it’s my own fault; I thought I was hard enough to handle it without my trusted (and often forgot) earplugs. But bugger me (no, please don’t!) – the terms ‘in Rhyl’ and ‘good sound’ don’t usually go together, but tonight they certainly did.
