Deckchair Protest

Sadly Marcus Peachey (ex Valleum / Seagull Kinevil) fell off a hay bale while practising for the Annual Amlwch Under 5’s Bovine Gymnastics Tournament, so he couldn’t do the scheduled session. This however gave me the opportunity to repeat the excellent recent live session by Deckchair Protest. Also they’re appearing with a ruck of bands at this year’s Focus Wales Festival in Wrexham as of May 10th – whom you’ll hear several of in this week’s show.

Llandudno’s Deckchair Protest have just released a new EP ‘Honey Drip’ so it was only polite of me to bring them in off the streets to perform a live session. Their second for the show having graced the carpet in November 2016. They’re such a great band as you’ll hear from the session and also from their recorded output.

Deckchair Protest are a Llandudno indie band; which is pretty rare as most acts from Llandudno are covers bands. They play chilled, sometimes hypnotic tunes and have released two great EPs (facebook page)
