Neil Crud on TudnoFM – Show 81 – with Cry in Session

Dylan Lloyd, Darren Dorling and Hitch formed Cry in 2015 and have just released their new EP ‘Brontide‘.
Recorded at Parr Street Studios in Liverpool it is full of ear-catching sweet melodies with a gilt edge. It was an obvious course of action to invite the Prestatyn trio back onto my TudnoFM show for another session… They didn’t let anyone down… Click below to hear the live session and the entire two hour show.

Cry, Maines @ The North, Rhyl

I often get asked to help bands put gigs on, I always politely decline with a ‘fuck off’ – it takes a certain calibre of fruitcake to actually promote gigs and I doff my cap to all of you. To Steve Rastin in Rhyl it’s second nature and I’m certain he’d be at a complete loss if he wasn’t hosting show after show for bands near and far.

He’s also bold enough to put on a post-hardcore band with a post-indie band and prop them up with an acoustic covers act!

Cry formed 18 months ago from their lairs in Dyserth, Meliden and Holywell, and released their debut EP Catch The Sun, which is available from the usual digital outlets. They have also (today) released an ace video for the song Shuh – watch it here

Habits, Cry, I Fight Lions @ The North, Rhyl

If only every gig night at The North was this busy. So busy you had to queue at the bar and wait your turn to get in the loo. If only people came out more often to support local live music, yeah sure, we all have busy lives, kids, jobs and soaps to watch… But if you made an effort to see at least one local gig a month (maybe even two) you’d help prevent today’s X-Factor finalists being tomorrow’s celebrity deaths.
