By the one minute mark of the opening track Kaleidoscope, the realisation that Bone Idl are giving you everything you want from a song hits you in the chops. It’s so good,… great harmonising guitar sound (a la early SLF), great tempo, great beat, great voice and all the right chords in the right places…

Bone Idl are from Chepstow and this is their debut release, and what a great EP – five songs in thirteen jam packed minutes that bounce along – ‘Address the facts I can’t hack being so theatrical, I’m just a bloke and you’re a fucking arsehole’ – I can hear a crowd singing that back at the band in a sweaty venue somewhere soon. I can feel the bruises from the mosh pit and the ringing in my ears….

Give them the once over when you’re sober – they’re fucking ace…
