As there were several glaring omissions in all the luvvies’ lists for 2016 here’s the link2wales Top 40 tunes of 2016 – the only rule is one song per band / act and they need a Welsh connection…


  1. Dan Amor & Huw Owen – Mothers In Day-Glo

    Swooshed was a compilation album released on leap day by Recordiau Cae Gwyn and this song is my favourite of 2016. I cannot stop playing it. A collaboration between Cae Gwyn’s Dan Amor and Mr Huw’s Huw Owen – it reminds me of c1970 Pink Floyd – utterly infectious.
