NEW SINGLE – COW – Notemakers
It does anger me when a band or label chucks out one digital only track and has the audacity to call it a single. No B-side! I guess the word ‘single’ is living up to its true meaning; as in, single song.
When you’re Cow however, you are excused on the strength of this ‘single’ song, Notemakers. Released on Mai 68 of Chester this song does everything you want it to and makes you feel better for listening to it.
You know vocalist-guitarist, Kyle Lee is not going to tell you how great things are and that he’s skipping his way to work every morning, fist pumping the strangers he passes. No, he’s going to be a wee bit sorrowful and slightly down, but he’s going to tell you in an uplifting way.
Be sure to catch Cow live as soon as martial law is lifted, they are an experience to behold. Hopefully, Notemakers, with it’s perceptive Breeders feel will be one of a batch of new and old material that will one day form an album? (Please).
