Pretty sure the Buzzcocks played in 1976, although that might be legend. But Bomb Disneyland defo played late 90’s.
And Havana 3am (Simion Clash bass player) played on the night the ground war started in the gulf first time.

I saw the Buzzcocks there in (probably) ’78. Barry Adamson stood in on bass that night. Brilliant gig!

I recall Bomb Disneyland ran into a bit of trouble over their name/logo and were forced to change it to Bomb Everything….or is my memory just shot at?!

I was lucky enough to go there late 80s/early 90s, getting the bus from the Odeon in Chester.
Apart from You Slosh, Engine and Romeo’s Daughter, one group I thought I’d imagined playing there but now confirmed were Dream Theater.
Like a few bands that used the Tiv as an apprenticeship, they have gone on to very great things.

A big thanks to all at the Tiv for many wonderful nights in the past, and hopefully many more; like the Nephilim and Mostly Autumn.

Warrant played in 1995 for their Ultraphobic tour, after they cancelled at Wolverhampton Civic.
I don’t remember the date, but I do remember that it was THE best gig I have ever been to.
Small numbers that night, and it basically turned into a party with the singer Jani Lane coming into the (albeit very small) crowd, and enjoying not playing to a large crowd for a change.

This gig ultimately led to me becoming a huge Warrant fan, and my wife and I had the acoustic version of one of their songs “Blind Faith” as our first dance at our wedding.
