4Q were a punk band from Colwyn Bay (1987-90). Originally featuring Edi Filmstar (voc), Neil Crud (gtr), Wayne The Bastard (bass) and Paul Puke (drms). Edi quit after 4 gigs and Cumi Pants (voc) joined and Paul Puke was replaced by Matt Vinyl (drms) to make up the most prolific line-up in the band’s gigging history. By mid-1989 Gumpsh (gtr) and Robin (gtr) had joined after Wayne had left with Neil taking over on bass. Neil Crud smashed his bass on stage in Sept’90 and quit the band and despite Cumi looking to recruit a replacement things stopped.

 – end of 4Q –

Psycho Sexual Sex Terrestrials (or PSST) were a Rhyl indie-punk band formed by Paul ‘Scouse’ Hammond at the end of 1990 – he asked Neil Crud to form the band with him but Crud declined as he was about to go abroad travelling and to take the heat off all the controversy surrounding his fanzine Crud. Neil joined the band as a second guitarist from January to May 1992 – the gigs listed are only the ones Neil played in – the band did several before and after.
Crud also opened for PSST as Jon Bon 10p, a parody act done ‘for a laugh.’
