Pink Killer
I like the fact that Pink Killer state they’re from Wrexhamshire.
I like the fact that they have been going exactly two years and that I’ve only just found them.
I like the fact their music is hard to find online.
I like the fact that their bassist looks like he should be in the classic film Easy Rider.
I like the fact that they have a minimalist sound yet still fill the room.
I like the effects on the guitar and the simplistic drumming.
I like the drummer’s flowery dress and the singer’s twee semi-psychopath attire.
I like the fact that there’s a hint of early-slow Placebo in there.
I like the fact that they also remind me of Shellac.
I like the fact that the bassist’s guitar hangs lower than his knees and that he has no tattoos on his arms.
I like the singer’s distinctive voice.
I like the fact that they remind me of Ruthin’s Model Superb.
I like the off-kilter song writing arrangements and that nothing seems hurried.
I like the semi-acoustic guitar sound they used in the first half of their set.
I like the fact that I am here to tell you that you most certainly need to add Pink Killer to your bucket list.
