The band got me in as their ‘manager’ (the buggers) – this meant I had to gee them up, move them along and generally take the flak for them being late!!
They were late on stage and had to play a rushed set… The sound was pretty immense…
Is it worth rushing all the way from home to play an afternoon slot at a festival full of gurning K-class people?… Well… probably…
Debut album out this autumn. The single Amity will be available as a very limited edition 7″ single shortly…

Now Neil I happened to be one of those “gurning K-Class” people you mention and I can assure you that (some of us at least) we’re fun-loving, sane, happy-go-lucky folks who occasionally like to turn it up to 11. Nothing more, nothing less. Of what I saw I enjoyed the bands, especially the end of Atlas will Atone’s set. Yours sincerely, Ex- Portrait of a Lifetime DJ, Danny “Nietzsche” Hughes
P.S There wasn’t even any “K” going. I know. I checked. 🙂
