babybraveInstantly infectious, pure pop quality, completely knocked out… Wrexham is the gift that keeps on giving of late with a production line of genre crossing bands all with a royal seal of approval, and Baby Brave are no exception.

Opening track on this King Horse EP is called Oyonnax and it hits you between the eyes with Emmi Manteau’s beautiful Hot Puppy voice. She pleads that she just needs to get home, and you’d drop everything to help her…
A seamless segue-way into Colours keeps you on that top platform, that jangly guitar that pure pop feel, nothing offensive as there’s no offence meant, it’s here for one purpose, and that’s for you to indulge yourself…
Jitters (video below) is more pop go-lucky syllable bouncing, with a nice click track style beat and distant thrashy guitar; every track is an A-side.
Wrists wraps up this delightful EP, far more darker than what went before, mantra driven, almost Sex Gang Children / Virgin Prunes, which’ll do just fine for me!
