MANIC rockers 4Q are setting their sights on Denbigh and they want to take it soon according to their lead singer Alan Pants.
The band are setting out on a new tour of North Wales and this week Alan told the Advertiser that he wants to see the people of Denbigh go to some of their gigs and try and help him get a concert staged in their home town. He said he fell in love with Denbigh after the band played their one and only gig there last year at the now defunct Scooby Doos night-club. They had arranged at The Crown last’ July but it had to be cancelled because the owners considered the dance floor unsafe for crash dancing. Meanwhile 4Q are consoling themselves with a gig in Aberystwyth on February 16 possibly with Welsh rock giants Yr Anhrefn. There are other concerts lined up but as yet no details are available.
