I too was at the concernt, in fact it was the first gig I ever went to. It was incredible and it was great to see Debbie give it a nod in Making Tracks. The next time I saw her was as a solo artist (with Chris Stein in her band) in May 1990 at Liverpool’s Royal Court. It was another great show. I’ve seen them many times since they reformed and it’s so good to have seen them back then, when they were well and truly in their imperial phase. Someone posted a pic from the gig on Twitter this week to wish Debbie a happy 76th brithday – how time flies. Great memories.

I was there too with my brother. What a mosh pit it was too.
I recall Debbie in a small silk black dress. Somebody launched a big plastic cup of water at her. It hit here full frontal and the dress stuck to her body. The crowd went mental!!!
